Where You Are — Travel Services
I provide travel services I like to call “Where You Are” appointments. These sessions are a unique one-on-one experience in your own private location, such as your home or office. You will receive a comprehensive assessment (if it is your first time) and treatment. I will bring a table and all the necessary supplies, you just be present and ready.
For your comfort and mine, I suggest another person be present in the area for your treatment time.
Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Treatment
A personalized approach to your whole body’s systems, lifestyle, and goal setting. Treatments can be broad for stress and relaxation, or targeted for pain, digestion, and more. Treatment consists of thin sterile needles placed gently along your energy pathways to promote circulation and nourishment. Other modalities may be used as needed to help bring your being into balance.
Micro- or Nano-needling Treatment
Micro-needling uses super-fine needles applied to the skin at high speeds to reduce discomfort and increase precision. These needles break the surface of your skin tissue and trigger your body’s natural healing response to rebuild, refresh, and brighten. The micro-channels created by the needles in your skin also allow for serum penetration to deeper layers. Nano-needling utilizes tiny silicone cones at the same high speeds to help remove dull outer layers of skin and improve serum uptake on the surface of your skin.

What to Expect — “Where You Are”
Setting Up & Tearing Down
I will need to find a quiet space about 10-15 minutes before your appointment — preferably a separate room with a door — to set up for your treatment. Your treatment and information should be private.
Have someone present in the immediate area, but not close enough to intrude on your privacy!
I will want to take another 10-15 minutes after your appointment to take down and clean the treatment area.
A Safety Check will be performed before and after your session to ensure that the space is safe for you, and for whoever needs to use it afterward. The Safety Check includes looking picking up trash, cleaning and sanitizing, and checking for needles that may have fallen.
Treatment
The “intake” or interview process can last up to 30 minutes, especially for your initial visit. Follow-up appointments generally go more quickly, unless you have a new complaint. During your intake, please know that I do ask some unique questions. The more information I can get, the more accurate your treatment will be. If you are uncomfortable discussing an aspect of your health, don’t hesitate to let me know – your comfort is my priority.
Your “on the table” time should be about 45-65 minutes, depending on the intake (above) and treatment type.
Acupuncture & Chinese Medicine
There are many modalities I might use in the course of your treatment. Your case may benefit from acupuncture/acupressure, cupping, electrical stimulation of acupuncture needles, moxa, or more. Ideally, a treatment plan will be outlined for continuation of care. You may also benefit from diet and lifestyle work, or mind-and-body work such as qigong, taiji, or guided meditation.
Micro- & Nano-Needling
With micro-/nanoneedling, your experience will be focused on the area of your complaint.
